Dr. Howard Roesen
Dr. Howard Roesen grew up in Newport News in a family of podiatrists, which included both his grandfather and uncle. He had the opportunity to work with both of them for a short time. He has over 30 years of experience in podiatric medicine, practicing since 1992. He is a clinical professor at Riverside Regional Medical Center and on the faculty of VCOM (Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine).
Dr. Roesen received his Doctorate degree in Podiatric medicine from Temple University College of Podiatric Medicine in 1990. He then completed residency training at Kern Hospital for Special Surgery in Warren, Michigan from July 1, 1990- June 30, 1992, Diabetic Foot Center of Michigan in Warren, Michigan from September, 1990 – June, 1992.
Dr. Howard Roesen is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Virginia Podiatric Medical Association, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
As an avid runner, Dr. Roesen has completed several marathons, and enjoys running at the beach near his home. He is married and has two children.
